I finally finished the needle punch project from a few days ago. I turned it in to a tiny pillow and it is now belong to Snowy, Aina’s stuffed toy. It was Snowy’s first (and only) pillow.
The punching process went pretty quick. At the beginning, I struggled keeping the loops intact and kept getting cramps on my hands and fingers, probably from holding the needle too tight. But after a while, I got a hang of it and was more relaxed and the punching got faster.
It took me a day to finish this little thing… The diameter of the work was only about 10cm, but I really like how it turned out. Below is the wrong side, or the working side. I was considering to use this one as the right side, because it turned out so nice and neat.
And this is the other side, the furry side. Snowy wanted this one to be her pillow.
So, I took out the embroidery hoop, chose the backing fabric from my stash that goes together with green and yellows… And started sewing.
After inserting the filling, the little pillow started to look pretty nice and fluffy. Now that it was all puffy, it made me think of a mushroom. I should’ve made it with the stem and all. Oh well, maybe for the next project.

Snowy likes it though. She said, she preferred this one instead of the mushroom shape pillow.
