It started with Leo’s idea, during the bowling-get-together, to have a New Year BBQ together to have the boys and men unleashing their barbecue passion. Well, it turned out that Leo couldn’t come, but the New Year BBQ had to go on. Right?
As usual, we ended up with too much food. Erlia, who brought (and cooked) the most delicious satay, brought all kinds of stuff to grill: from meat to bread (Indonesian style Roti Bakar). There was salad, chicken wings, roasted corn…
And there was even a birthday cake for Erlia’s belated birthday.
I was too busy eating, that I didn’t take any pictures during the cook-out. Sorry…
After we’re all stuffed to the brim, while waiting for the new year count down to begin, the kids played sparkles outside. It brought me back to my childhood, and how sparkles could make any kids happy.
