In the morning, during breakfast, Aina and Naia made up. Whew… Since Naia didn’t want to go to the Kids Club by herself, she ended up joining all of us swimming with the fish. This time, everyone brought their goggles. Aina had fun, and was quite amused by having the fish swimming around so close to us.
We ended up hanging out on the rocks longer than yesterday, and got to see a bunch of small crabs basking on the nearby rocks. Those big rocks slowly became submerged under the water as the tide rose up.
After playing with the fish, just like yesterday, we continued with kayaking. Aina and Naia were tall enough to join their parents. So Naia went with Shinta and Aina was with Ari, both of them taking the double kayaks. Neishia was too young, and wasn’t able to swim yet, so she wasn’t allowed to board the kayak. But towards the end, Ario managed to sneak her in, did a quick run, enough to take a family photo on the kayak…
After kayaking, we still had a bit of time before lunch, so the kids played on the beach… After two full days of rain and overcast sky, we finally met the sun again… And you can see how clear the water was… Bintan beach was beautiful, indeed.
We had our last lunch wearing our swim suits, because we had checked out of our rooms. The check out time was around 10am, so we packed up all our stuff into the suitcases, and sent our suitcases up to the reception this morning. We only brought a change of clothes and our shower amenities along with us.
After lunch, we all took turns taking a shower in the public bathroom (they were very clean!), and got ready for our bus for the ferry terminal.
There was a long line in the immigration. But I guess, since we left Club Med quite early, we ended up scoring good seats in the ferry… The very front seats! Aina and Naia managed to have a quick dinner by ordering some hotdogs during the ferry ride. I was completely dead, slept almost all the way through…
And, right before we got off the ferry, we finally took a complete group picture!
