After 7 months of delays, we finally finished writing the story of this Japan trip. Unlike our previous trips, this time we were visiting the northern part of Japan.
This 10-day trip was one of the most-awaited trips for us. The Avocadolite family went to meet up with Noushka and Ditha — who came from Jakarta, Indonesia — in the island of Hokkaido and did a bit of town-hopping. On this trip, we didn’t rent a car. Instead, we traveled by trains and busses. The planning took months, going back and forth using Whatsapp group and Facetime to discuss the itinerary and revising it over and over again.
The discussion was mostly about which town to visit, what types of hotels and ryokans we would like to stay, which onsen we would like to try… All arranged around the time tables of the trains and busses so that we can make our connections between the places.
It was so much fun!

asikknyaaa liburan ke jepang kayanya seru ya..kepengen deh.. tapi disana makanannya OK gak sih untuk lidah indonesia? aku soalnya agak ribet nih soal makan, masih terbayang-bayang liburan ke korea kemarin gak cocok sama makanannya.. *hix* and gak terlalu suka makanan jepang juga apalagi sushi.. doyannya cuma hokben itu pun juga kayanya makanan jepang-jepangan ya, udah cita rasa indonesia soalnya..hahaha
may i ask in the picture above of the post where is this place exactly in Hokkaido? thanks x
It’s in Hakodate, called Nijikken-Zaka Dori… http://avocadolite.com/blog/2015/06/19/hokkaido-2015-day-5-ropeway-to-mt-hakodate/
