Aina had been looking forward for today, because Francesca, her bestfriend from school, would be coming and having a playdate in our house. Aina had been friends with Francesca since they’re in P1. And starting P2, they went home from school together, too. So, they’ve been pretty close.
This was also the first time she has someone from her school come and play at our house. So, it’s rather special.
Francesca’s mom dropped her off at around 10AM and she said, she’ll pick her up around 3 in the afternoon. They spent most of their time in Aina’s room, only went out for drinks and bathroom breaks. Koda sometimes came in and kept them company… Although it seems that her company was not really needed.
During lunch, we went to Kotobuki in Holland Village, taking Bun (Aina’s beloved bunny pencil case) along with them. They had their sushi, which took almost half an hour to come out… (Hmmph!).
Since the sushi was taking forever to come out, by the time we finished lunch and got back home, it was almost time for Francesca being picked up. Oh well… Maybe next time, we shouldn’t do Kotobuki.
The kids seemed to be happy, though. And they already planned what to do on their next playdate… 🙂
