This cardigan took muuuch longer than I thought. I started in May this year, and finished it up a few days ago… So 7 months in a making! I think I had to start over about 3 times. Or was it 5 times? Not too sure anymore… Basically, not only I was struggling with the count and stuff, I also lost an interest somewhere along the line… and finally picked it up again a month ago.
I think the pattern is beautiful. It’s called Flower Cardigan, and I got it from Ravelry. I fell in love with it on the first sight. And it’s kinda cute, that the whole cardigan knitted from the center of the flower…
That part wasn’t too hard. I was enjoying it, actually. It got harder and more complicated once it reaches the arms. And got even more confusing when trying to line the edges. But I’m glad that it’s finally finished, and it looks exactly what I imagined. I think it’s really pretty…
I love the flower on the back, and the rounded hem at the front. And even the details near the neck is lovely. Maybe, I’ll make it again once this one is too small for Aina. And maybe, by that time, it’ll take me 3.5 months, instead of 7 months. Twice as fast. Yep.
Update: She finally wore it in the summer 2015, during our Hokkaido 2015 trip! Yay!!
For the Ravelry page, I have it here: Flower Cardigan.
