birthday picnic’s goodiebags

for the past week, we’ve been cross-stitching everyday, making aina’s father’s day gift. i’d love to post it here, but aina insisted that it’s a surprise gift. everytime i take a picture of her stitching, she warns me not to post it anywhere… yet.

so, today is a good break. the craft activity for today is making goodiebags for tomorrow’s picnic, aina’s birthday picnic (if the weather permits). we’re making little bags. i do the sewing, aina does everthing else, from folding the fabric, putting in and winding the ribbons to filling up the bags.

we’re making gender-specific bags, because aina insists that she wants everything pink. and i feel bad for the boys if they get pink-colored stuff. We might need to re-think for unique mens gift ideas, I just can’t think of anything right now.

so hopefully, tommorrow doesn’t rain, with a little cloud and cool light wind. we’re wishing for a good picnic weather. amen.
