During Boxing day, Noushka called Khobes, the tattoo artist our family always go to, to come to Chili’s house. A bunch of us were getting new tattoos today: Chili, Ditha, Ari and I! …and Khobes himself, for losing bet with Noushka, so Noushka got to tattoo Khobes. But that’s another story…
Ari’s tattoo was a shishi Koda, a drawing of Koda in an Asian Foo Dog style. He first drew this about 4 years ago, when he was first thinking about getting a tattoo. But he kept revising the design and we never made any appointments… until today.
This tattoo was done in about 3 hours, on one sitting (or laying down, actually). Ari said it didn’t hurt. And I thought it looked really cool… 🙂
