three days ago, i was ecstatic to find out that i can finally fit into my pre-pregnancy pair of jeans. actually, i could fit into three pairs of jeans. it made my day. after six months and a half, there is finally an improvement in my body shape.
fueled by the idea that i could go back to the way i used to dress, ari and i launched the operation get-thalia-in-shape. it turned out that, in my case, breastfeeding my baby does not help me in shedding my excess pregnancy weight. and i don’t want to go on diet or appetite suppressants because I’m afraid that it will interfere with my breast milk supply. so today, i bought a pair of running shoes, some socks, a pair of shorts that a bit baggy (all my shorts are too revealing to wear outside the house, especially with this cellulite all over my thighs) and a sports bra.
around 6pm, i took Koda out and we both ran around the neighborhood. the idea is to run everyday in the afternoon, when the sun is almost down. we hope, i can get into most of my pre-pregnancy clothes soon and be, ehm, stylish again. and get Koda in shape, too… she gets tired too quickly after only a few throws of playing fetch.
i haven’t been running (or do any exercise, for that matter) for more than 10 years. so, let’s see how sore will i get tonight… and how long i can keep this exercise routine.

aduh iya nih Thal, gw tahun lalu berhasil nurunin 6 kg. eh skrg udah naik lagi 1 kg 🙁
